- uglydolls April 10th, 2004 - CUTENESS!!! uglydolls are one of my many obessessions. i have jeero and tray, and i am hoping to soon obtain wedgehead. how can you not love those faces? they are the best thing since sliced bread.
- bassman's david bowie page May 1st, 2004 - yes, this is disgusting i know. yet another fansite. i like this one because it has db interviews! they're really funny, he'll write songs in the middle of them, or go off on extremely random tangents. his interview with playboy is possibly one of the best things i have ever read
- david brighton April 9th, 2004 - is the man in the orange suit david bowie? :gasp: it is not! this is the website of the man who is named the best bowie impersonator in the world. now i really thought that the orange suit picture was bowie, the others aren't quite as disturbingly realistic. so this guy dresses as bowie and sings his songs. according to the site he's really good, "the closest to going back in time and seeing bowie." but one thing, why not just see the real thing? bowie was great in concert! i don't care if he's 57! why see "the closest thing" when you can see the real one? still, i appreciate this website and the website i found it off of, www.celebrityimpersonators.com
- bulletproof faces April 9th, 2004 - this is a smaller-scale db fansite. i quite like the person who made this, as she got a think white duke haircut. that is just plain awesome! would look terrible on me though. this site has good buddy icons for aim. yay.
- never follow April 9th, 2004 - this is a lovely site that i just found today. bowie is doing some promo for audi, and this is his awesome site for it. it is quite fun, you can listen to his song where he puts rebel rebel and never get old together into one song, and you can enter your own "bowie mashup" and then you can watch the little video where he speaks italian. or look at pictures of him with john lennon. and it also has a nice little biography.
- bowie wonderworld April 12th, 2004 - here is another fansite for my dear ziggy. this one is good because you can find his short story: The Diary of Nathan Addler, or the Art-Ritual Murder of Baby Grace. and you can also find an interview in which HE interviewed Alexander McQueen. and my favorite is "funtime" where they have bowie jokes, but in most of them, they just replace "a man" with bowie, and " a woman" with Iman. this also has tons of pictures, if it matters to anyone but me.
- teenage wildlife April 9th, 2004 - this is a fansite dedicated to (bet you can't guess!) david bowie. i like the fact that it is free, and i go here a lot in order to feel better about my obsession. one of my favorite pastimes is to go through the messageboards looking for bowie-obsessed freaks! like the one who said "i'm waiting to have sex until i am married, or until bowie, whatever comes first." hahaha. marriage or bowie.
- bowienet April 9th, 2004 - this is david bowie (aka. my obsession)'s official site. he created this when he saw how popular the internet was becoming, and it is a success. on this site you can watch videos made by fans and look at pictures and news and even talk to db in chat! unfortunately, if you want to use any of these things you have to pay $60 a year, which is just a tad bit pricey, and thus i have not had the chance to do these things, which depresses me greatly. still the site makes me happy because it is beautiful and pink and has a welcome message that makes me smile.
